Creating a Health Information Culture: Concepts, Interventions, and Measurement
Monitoring and managing a health system effectively require data from health facilities and communities. As health ministries and organizations work toward the Sustainable Development Goals and universal health coverage, they recognize that their progress depends on establishing a culture of information to sustain the improvements they need to make in health data quality and use. In this interactive session, a panel with global knowledge of health-information system interventions will discuss proven solutions to cultivating an information culture in the health sector. The session will explore use of the PRISM Framework and the PRISM tools to define the breadth and depth of information culture within health ministries and health organizations and how to apply the findings to create interventions to build a sustainable health information culture.
