Prevention Primer: How to Effectively Prevent Violence Against Women

Session Description: Violence against women by their intimate partners is a worldwide epidemic. Led by violence prevention experts from the Prevention Collaborative and USAID’s CARE-GBV activity, this session will highlight common elements that have been shown to contribute to effective programming and share program examples from around the world. By focusing on these common elements, the session is designed to support participants to develop or assess potential violence prevention programs and initiatives.
