Session Description: How can countries track and maintain potency of all vaccines in order to reduce waste, prevent death, and maintain a strong health system? This session aims to provide a background on cold chain system management for vaccines using Tanzania as a case study. The session will explore how a cold chain system made up of remote temperature monitoring (RTM) technology, integrated logistics information management systems, government commitment and leadership, and clear data use processes can ensure quality vaccines make it to the last mile.
