Help is Just a Text Away: Using Virtual Means to Expand WASH/IPC Facility Readiness: Lessons Learned from Five Country Programs

Session Description: In this session we will discuss how to use technology in support of improving water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) behaviors and readiness. We will begin by highlighting recent experiences and lessons learned from USAID’s Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) project, on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and free or open-source digital data collection, data dashboards, and virtual capacity building tools and platforms. We will then dive into a discussion on how existing tools can be leveraged to improve health care systems and program implementation, along with their potential shortcomings and future opportunities.
