Session Date: April 22, 2021
Session Description: Hosted at WHO in Geneva, the IBP Network is a consortium of over 80 member organizations, representing NGOs, CSOs, UN agencies, academia and private stakeholders. Our mission is to support dissemination and use of evidence-based guidelines and programmatic interventions in FP/SRH, by using our convening power, diverse membership and neutral platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration. As part of IBP’s 20th anniversary in 2020, the IBP Network Community Engagement Platform was launched, to take FP/SRH knowledge sharing and collaboration to new heights. This interactive tool allows anyone with an interest in FP/SRH to read the latest news; receive invitations to webinars; share information/questions; download evidence-based resources; and interact with others. Members can also join Communities of Practice on technical topics, including adolescents; nursing; RH/SRH in specific regions; newborn health; and RH/FP in the context of Covid-19. The platform has attracted more than 1600 members from around the globe and keeps growing every day. In this session we will give an overview of the platform and show how you may use it to access and share FP/SRH knowledge virtually and across borders.
